Who we are

The Huntington Regional Film Commission (HRFC) is an organization that seeks to promote the Tri-State (Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia) as a location for motion pictures, television, commercials, still photography shoots and documentaries.

What we do

The HRFC aids filmmakers in finding locations, talent and educational resources. We also host the Appalachian Film Festival, which is designed to showcase filmmaking in Appalachia as well as provide training workshops and networks among local and national filmmakers.

Our goals

- To present our region as an amicable environment for movie and TV production.

- To showcase the film production resources available in our region.

- To research and disseminate information requested by studios and film producers.
